The former Full House and ER star is flattered that some fans want to see him replace Sheen on the CBS comedy, but doesn’t see it in his plans.

“It’s really not part of my career plan right now. I’m just on a different trajectory,” Stamos told Ryan Seacrest on Friday.

Rumors about Sheen’s replacement stirred right after he was fired from the show. Stamos and Rob Lowe were mentioned as possible replacements. Stamos, however, isn’t sure he’s the right person for the role.

“Charlie’s great on that show and people love Charlie. I hope it works out and I hope he goes back and I hope people get the show they love,” Stamos said.

Instead, Stamos aka Uncle Jesse, has been looking for a show of his own.

“I’m ready to have my own show. I don’t want to replace anyone, especially Charlie Sheen,” Stamos added.

Meanwhile, you can catch Stamos on Glee.

I certainly think sexy Uncle Jesse – I mean – Stamos deserves his own show. I, for one, will be tuning in if it happens!
