Carrie Ann Inaba Gets Engaged

Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba was surprise with a proposal by her boyfriend, Jesse Sloan, on Thursday’s Live with Regis and Kelly.

Inaba, 43, who was filing in for vacationing Kelly Ripa, had no idea her boyfriend of two years, 39-year-old Sloan, would be proposing to her on the show.

Right at the end of the show, Regis Philbin pretended to answer a viewer’s question on how best to propose to his girlfriend. With the lights dimmed and violinists appearing, Sloan appeared and told Inaba she is his inspiration, she’s beautiful, she’s wonderful. “Will you marry me?” he asked.

“Yes,” said Inaba. “I will marry you.”

Inaba’s engagement ring is a 2½-carat, D-color, princess-cut diamond solitaire ring in platinum from Rafinity.
