Former WWF wrestler “Macho Man” Randy Savage died on Friday morning in a car accident in Tampa, Florida at the age of 58.
Savage reportedly suffered a heart attack while driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler in Tampa this morning. He lost control of his car, crashing head-on into a tree after driving across a concrete median.
Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.
Earlier this month, Savage celebrated his 1-year anniversary with his new wife Lynn.
His wife was in the car at the time of the accident, but she suffered only minor injuries.
Savage become one of the most popular wrestlers in the ’80s and became the spokesman for Slim Jim in the ’90s.
