Fantasia Barrino Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

American Idol season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, December 13 in North Carolina.

Barrino’s first son, Dallas Xavier Barrino, was 7 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches long at birth.

“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” Barrino, 27, told People. “I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.”

Barrino revealed she was pregnant during a charity event in August and announced in October that she was having a boy.

The singer has yet to mention who the father of child is.

Barrino also has a 10-year-old daughter, Zion.
