Ashley Tisdale and her music video director boyfriend, Scott Speer, have broken up after dating for more than 2 years.
Tisdale, 26, and Speer, 29, began dating in spring 2009, just one month after she broke up with musician Jared Murillo.
“They had been on and off for a while. They tried to work it out but realized their relationship ran its course,” a source tells Us Magazine.
Speer has directed five of Tisdale’s music videos, including “He Said She Said,” “Not Like That,” “Suddenly,” “It’s Alright, It’s OK” and “Crank It Up.”
There were no direct mentions of the break up on Tisdale’s Twitter account, but Ashley Tweeted: “What goes around comes back around,” a few days ago, posted a photo saying “Rocking out to Don’t hold your breath by Nicole Sherzinger.”
