Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves Engaged

Hunky actor Matthew McConaughey is engaged to Brazilian model Camila Alves.

McConaughey announced the engagement on his WhoSay account, writing, “Just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas.”

Attached was a photo of McConaughey and Alves kissing (see above).

Alves, 28, and McConaughey, 42, began dating in 2007. McConaughey told Esquire in March, “I found the woman… I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together.”

The couple has two kids together – a three-year-old son, Levi, and a daughter, Vida, who will be 2-years-old in January.
