Emily Maynard Is the Next ‘Bachelorette’

Emily Maynard, the likable winner of Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor, will be the next Bachelorette.

Maynard’s engagement to Womack fizzled out shortly after the season ended.

Maynard, 25, is also the former fiancee of Ricky Hendrick who died in the Hendrick Motorsports plane crash in October 2004. Maynard has a daughter Ricki – named after Ricky. A source says the show is moving production to Maynard’s hometown, Charlotte, N.C., to accommodate her and her daughter.

The 8th season of The Bachelorette, staring Emily Maynard, will start filming in March.
