Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans returned to Bruswick County, N.C. jail today for misdemeanor. stalking.
The 20-year-old teen mom reportedly turned herself in after learning about the arrest warrant for cyber stalking.
Evans’ agent says the warrant was a misunderstanding regarding accusations by her former boss James Duffy.
“Duffy filed cyberstalking charges against Jenelle,” Evans’ agent, Leo Daniels, told E! News. “She has not posted anything about him in a long time. Duffy came up with these accusations… Jenelle was aware of the warrant because Duffy posted all about it on Facebook and Twitter on Friday. Jenelle was in New York over the weekend. When she returned home, she went up to see what was going on. She was read the charges and they let her go.”
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department confirmed Evans was released from jail this afternoon after posting $1,000 bond. Evans is set to appear in court on March 23 for these latest charges.
