Bieber, who has 19 million followers, Tweeted a phone number earlier this month with the caption, “Call me right now.” It was a random phone number that was missing the final digit. Excited Bieber fans tried to figure out what that missing digit was by dialing all the possibilities.

The Tweet was later deleted, but the damage was already done.

A Texas couple says that Bieber’s Tweet resulted in them receiving thousands of phone calls at all hours of the day. The couple’s lawyer tells TMZ that her clients want compensation for all the problems Justin caused with his “reckless” behavior.

According to TMZ, suggestions for compensation included concert tickets for the couple’s grandchildren, an apology from Bieber, an endorsement for an online project created by the husband and monetary compensation.
