Kris Humphries reportedly won’t sign off on the divorce with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian because he wants more money out of the divorce settlement.
Humphries, who just signed an 8 million dollar deal with the Jew Jersey Nets for the 2011-2012 season, will not agree to the current divorce settlement terms because he and his lawyer are thinking they could “get him even more money.”
A source told E! News that 27-year-old Humphries is looking for a $7 million settlement for his 72 days of marriage to Kardashian.
“Kris is dragging it out,” the source says. “Kim is ready to move on, but Kris is hoping that stretching it out will get him even more money.”
Humphries has said in the past that he hasn’t made any demands, but the source claims Humphries wants the $7 million in exchange for not speaking publicly about their short-lived relationship.
“Kim never considered signing something like that,” the source says. “Kris can’t take the time to consider [her] offer, but he finds time to do an interview with a tabloid magazine. There is a fair offer on the table, but he just won’t sign it.”
