Demi Lovato Confirmed As ‘X Factor’ Judge

Actress and singer Demi Lovato has been confirmed as am “X Factor” judge for the second season of the FOX singing competition.

It is expected that 19-year-old Demi Lovato and 30-year-old Britney Spears will be revealed as the new “X Factor” judges at the Fox network upfront presentation on Monday. Lovato and Spears will join Simon Cowell and music executive L.A. Reid at the judges table, replacing Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Abdul and Scherzinger were fired from the show after the first season did not live up Cowell’s expectations.

Lovato is scheduled to tour this summer, but sources say there shouldn’t be any schedule conflicts.

The second season of the “X Factor” will air this fall.
