Blake Shelton’s Contestant Cassadee Pope Wins ‘The Voice’

Blake Shelton’s contestant Cassadee Pope won season 3 of “The Voice” Tuesday night.


Shelton had two contestants in the top 3 – Terry McDermott and Pope – and the third finalist was Nicholas David of Team Cee Lo. Coaches Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera did not have any contestants in the finale. Pope was announced as the winner on the finale show Tuesday night. McDermott was named the runner-up and David came in third place.

Rihanna, newly engaged Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars and the Killers performed on the season finale last night.

Season 4 of “The Voice” premieres March 25, 2013, with Shakira and Usher replacing coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green for one season.
