Nelly Furtado has announced the release of her new album, The Spirit Indestructible, on June 19, 2012 and the first single, “Big Hoops (Bigger is Better)” is available today, April 17.

Furtado co-wrote each song on The Spirit Indestructible, which, in keeping with her musically eclectic nature, finds her working with an array of collaborators from across the musical spectrum, including hip-hop songwriter-producer Salaam Remi (Furtado’s “The Night is Young,” Nas), pop songwriter-producer Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Beyonce and Lady Gaga), veteran metal producer Bob Rock (Metallica), Dutch DJ and EDM producer Tiesto, rock songwriter and producer John Shanks, and Jamaican reggae producer Da Genius. +Continue Reading
Jason Mraz is going on the road with his new band, beginning the “Tour Is A Four Letter Word” World Tour in South Korea and making his way to the United States and Canada.

On June 8, Jason Mraz will begin his World Tour in South Korea and continuing through Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and on to Hawaii. August through October, Jason will tour across the United States and Canada with special guest Christina Perri. Jason will end the year in Europe (with stops in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Portugal, Holland, Germany, Belgium, and the UK) this November and December.

Just weeks after revealing spring tour dates, singer John Mayer announced Friday, March 9, that the tour is cancelled due to vocal issues.

“During rehearsal on Tuesday, it came to mind that I should see my throat doctor because something didn’t feel/sound right. I went in for a visit on Wednesday and a scope of my vocal cords revealed that the granuloma has grown back where it had mostly healed. This is bad news,” Mayer wrote on his Tumblr Friday. “Because of this, I have no choice but to take an indefinite break from live performing. Pop singer JoJo released a brand new remix for her latest single, “Disaster” along with a new, extended version of the original video.

The track was remixed by DJ Kue, who’s offered up official remixes for the likes of Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, and Rihanna.
“I’m excited to present to you the DJ Kue version of my ‘Disaster’ video,” says JoJo. “I love this remix and hope you will enjoy it too.”
The song is one of 5 remixes that will be featured on a new EP due out on March 6th. JoJo’s new album, Jumping Trains, is due this Spring.
