The Bachelorette Andi: Week Four

Love is in the air in France for Andi and the boys.

They take their first out of the country trip and its to France! (I would go on this show, just for the trips, by the way.) Andi talks about what a great country this is to be in for love – and the back drop is beautiful! But, with the beauty of this show, comes the drama.

My favorite boy, Josh got the first one-on-one date. Andi and Josh learned how to make liquor then later were serenaded by Ben Fields during a private concert. He got the rose and stays for another week! I really like Josh, and how easy it is with her and him!

Up next, the group date! This date included Chris, Marcus, Marquel, Andrew, Pat, Nick, Dylan, JJ, and Cody. They walked around France and practiced their mime skills with strangers. It was cute – and creepy. At some point during this date, JJ stole Andi away and rode a Ferris wheel with her. JJ got the group date rose, because he’s adorable.

But Marquel and Andrew get into it on the date. Marquel is told that Andrew has said some rude and mean things about him, and decides to confront him… because that always ends well in Bachelorland. But, they fought and that was that.

The last one-on-one date went to Brian. They watched Disney’s “The Hundred Foot Journey” in a private theater (product plug much?), then Andi had a French recipe to make for dinner, so they went shopping for the ingredients. It ended up being frog legs (gross), and making the dinner turned out horrible so they just went somewhere afterwards and had drinks. Perfect plan! He got the rose.

Who went home: Marquel, Andrew, and Pat.

I liked Marquel, sad he went home! Nick should have gone home instead of him.

Who I’m still loving: Josh and Cody. I’m also going to throw in JJ, because he’s adorable.

What did you think of their time in France?!

The Bachelorette Andi: Week Three – Night Two

We knew going into this season, that this season was different. This was the first season that a contestant has died before the season began, and how were they going to handle it? Well… it happened.

Before we get to the promised drama that was this two night episode, we have our first one-on-one date. This date went to Dylan. They spent their date on the Essex Steam Train, and he got into some pretty heavy stuff. Dylan has not had the easiest run, and I’m glad that Andi was nice and understanding about it.

And the group date. Boys will be boys. And boys will be mad when you loose a basketball game. 11 guys of the playing basketball against each other. The losing team had to leave the date. Who didn’t see that ending badly? I did.

And shocking, the losing team was sad. But, at least Andi had a good time – because they focused way too much on what happened to the losing team, than to the dates she did have.

The last one-on-one date went to Marcus. They rappelled down the side of Mohegan Sun, had dinner at Griswold Inn then a “private” concert with Jon Pardi. I like that Marcus talked Andi into doing the date.

Then, we went onto the cocktail party -ish. Andi and Eric had a falling out, because Eric decided to call Andi out on being fake. There are times she seems fake (I’ve said it before, I’m sure I’ll say it again), and he called her out on it. So she sent him home.

Then – instead of going to the rest of the cocktail party, we cut to Chris Harrison. They wanted to have a ‘moment’ to remember Eric, and not talk about anything else that happened. Not to show who went home. Not to show how the rest of the guys reacted.

I liked Eric, and I am sad that he left the way he did, but we should have seen more of the fallout. We would have seen it with any other contestant, we should have with this.

Who went home: Tasos.

The Bachelorette Andi – Week Three Episode One

The men will be boys… and sing with Boys To Men. The two-night Bachelorette event kicked off tonight with a good start, and a huge buildup to the drama that occurs tomorrow.

The first one-on-one date went to Nick V. They went hiking and had a picnic, how cute. They had a good date, but I’m not seeing the sparks. Although, she is not asking me – and gave him a rose anyways.

The group date: singing with Boys To Men! Seems like there is a repetition theme from this season to last… Bradley thought that he had this competion in the bag, because he is an opera singer and not afraid of it! However, he did not have this in the bag. None of the other guys took this as serious as he did, and they had fun with it. Some of them even forgot the lyrics! And there he was, looking like an idiot. It seemed they all had fun, and I am impressed that they all got up there and sang! I could not do that. Props to them. At the end of the night, Josh got the group date rose.

The next one-on-one date went to JJ. They both got ‘makeovers’ by professional make up artists in Hollywood to look 50 years older, and they then dressed as old people and played practical jokes on citizens. All is forgiven if you are old! Since he was such a good sport, he got the group date rose.

The drama is starting! Apparently, Andrew went out and got some girls number when they went out… Could this be boys just being boys and talking trash? Or is it for real?

Don’t fear – JJ and Josh decided to confront him! And he decided to run up to his room instead of being honest. He claims the truth is that the girl gave him her number, and he left it at that. I don’t like him anyway, so he can leave.

During this episode, Ron found out that his friend died and chose to leave the show.

Who went home: Bradley and Brett.

Who I’m still loving: Josh, Cody and Eric are my favorites! They all are so cute, and seem to get along with Andi pretty well.

I’m curious to see what is going with the ‘drama’ for tomorrow night. I am sure that the ads are making it seem worse than it will play out, but it will be the first real drama of the season!

What did you think of the episode?

The Bachelorette Andi: Week Two

It is week two in the mansion, and the boys have gone a bit crazy.

The episode started off with a one-on-one beach and snow date, the group date getting naked for charity and one contestant getting too drunk for their own good… Was it just me, or was this episode EXACTLY the same as Juan Pablo’s week two?

Eric Hill got the first one-on-one date, and it was adorable! I loved everything about this date, even if it did take me a few minutes to forget that Clare and JP had this date already. I love Eric, so cute and funny!

The group date had the men taking things ‘down under’ and being strippers for charity. Sounds like a great time! Andi enlisted the help of Kelly and Sharleen from last season, and they were so cute! Love that she is keeping true to her friends, and love even more that Nikki was not there! Seems like in the end all the boys were good sports about it!

Then, the date changed over to a more formal date night and while all the men tried to get one-on-one attention from Andi, Craig decided to try a new way. Craig got too drunk for his own good, and made an idiot of himself. Even better? The producers had to take him home!

Andi’s next one-on-one date with farmer Chris at the races! This date was cute, but forgettable. I’m liking Chris, so glad he got the chance to stay!

As for the pre-rose ceremony, a lot of the guys pulled out the stops to get her attention. I have never seen so many ‘mini-dates’ set up by the guys (or girls) before! What great ways to get her attention!

Who went home: Nick S., Carl and Craig. All forgettable. Sorry boys.

Who I’m loving: Josh, Cody and Eric are by far my favorites so far!

Who are you loving so far?

The Bachelorette Andi: Week One

The summer is back and that means only one thing - The Bachelorette. While it is still hard to forget the sting on Juan Pablo, we must go on.

Andi Dorfman, the girl who infamously told JP that it “es NOT ok”, is your bachelorette! And, she looks stunning! I am hoping that this season is worth it and fantastic, and not a repeat of JP.

The night:

Lets just say it – the first night is always awkward and weird. First, we had our first party crasher of the series (and thankfully was turned down), and our first lamp as a gift. Seriously, someone gave Andi a LAMP. You have what seems like two hours to make the best impression that you have to stay and that is a lot of pressure!

Aside from the random gifts, party crasher and sad tribute to constant Eric Hill, this premiere was slightly boring and uneventful. But, guys are less dramatic than girls…. in the beginning.

Who went home: Josh B., Rudie, Steven, Mike, Emil and Jason.

Apparently Andi does not like men with long hair! The three who did, went home. By boys, you did not make an impression on us anyways.

This opener seemed a bit more rushed than the normal ones, so I am not sure who my frontrunners are. I am loving Cody and Marcus, but it is way to soon to pick favorites!

(Seriously Josh, going to throw a fit because the pretty girl didn’t like you? Good luck)

Who do you love so far?

The Bachelorette Andi – What You Need To Know

The new Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, is ready to start her search for love. But, before we see her journey here are a few things that you need to know about this season!

Andi is throwing some major shade at Juan Pablo. We all know how that ended, and it was not “okay”. So, how is Andi getting her revenge? By this:

One of her suitors has sadly, passed away. Contestant Eric Hill was killed during a paragliding accident. Rumors have it, that he makes it pretty far in the show, and died days before the final rose ceremony. No word on when Andi was told.

I am willing to bet that Andi has learned several things from being on this show before, and one being that just because you are the center of attention, that does not mean that you will be liked. With the world still dealing with the terrible hand we were dealt with the last season, I am interested to see how Andi will handle her title.

The new season premieres next Monday on ABC. Are you excited for the season?

Who else danced with joy after hearing that a Boy Meets World sequel, Girl Meets World, is in the works? Disney has been taping Girl Meets World, which will air later this year. Fortunately, most of the main cast members will reprise their roles in the spin off. This includes Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga) as the parents of Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), the show’s “Girl.”

If you’ve forgotten why this is the best news since sliced bread (and Boy Meets World, for that matter), here are the top ten reasons that Boy Meets World is still amazing! +Continue Reading

A “Bachelor” Wedding!

Nearly five months after The Bachelor with Juan Pablo wrapped up, there has been a wedding!

No, Juan and Nikki have not tied the knot! Season 18 front-runner Renee Oteri has married her best friend of 22 years, Bracy Maynard.

“And THAT just happened. I married my best friend of 22 years!” wrote newlywed Oteri, captioning an Instagram photo of her smiling, in a long white lace gown.

Glad to see she is not too sad over her relationship with JP ending.

And, in true Bachelor fashion, Bachelorette star Desiree Hartsock was on hand to witness the nuptials.

The Bachelor Juan Pablo: Finale

Our journey has come to an end, and Juan Pablo has chosen his lady. The most controversial season yet has come to an awkward halt.

The two women met his family, and that was weird. They both told his family that they loved him, and his family was telling them that he is not that great of a guy. Huge red flag.

The women then went on their each awkward dates, and both were left crying on their beds. Seriously, this season had more tears than any others!

Juan chose his lady, and it was Nikki! He said “I’m not 100% sure I want to purpose, but I’m 100% sure I don’t want to let you go.” I am not sure what that means… He does not seem sincere, but I have been saying that all season long!

Juan Pablo has been the most controversial bachelor yet, because he has been so rude, so outspoken, and so flip-floppy that he is so unliked.

Juan really caught me off guard when he was so mean to Clare. While we do not know what was said in the helicopter, but it clearly made Clare upset. And the Juan said the right things, and she stayed.

I appreciate the fact that Juan told Clare how he felt, but he went about it in such a rude way, and that was shocking. And then for him to say “I’m glad I didn’t pick her”, was terrible to watch.

I hope that things work out for Nikki and Juan Pablo, but so far, I’m not feeling it.

What were your thoughts on the finale?!

And, yes, Andi is your new Bachelorette! Are you excited?!

The Bachelor Juan Pablo: Women Tell All

Hell has no fury like a women scorned, and poor Juan Pablo, you have 25 scorned women waiting for you!

While there were some girls on there that I was happy to see again, #TeamKat, and there were some women that I did not even remember!

This Women Tell All is different than the other season, because it seems like all the women finally understand what the nation has been saying! Juan Pablo is ridiculous, and unfair.

I am glad that some of the women said what they felt they needed to say, and some of them did not hold back! They had something to say about things that he did on the show, to things he has said off of the show.

Renee, Sharleen and Andi were called up to the hotseat to face Chris Harrison.  I am glad to see that all three women were happy with their journey, because it seems that many women were upset with JP.
