A Canadian company has bought the rights to Marilyn Monroe’s name, image, and likeness.
Jamie Salter, the Toronto-based leader of Authentic Brands Group has purchased the rights to the image of the 1950s icon for an unknown amount.
“Marilyn Monroe is recognized around the world as the embodiment of beauty and glamour. Quite simply, her name and her image have timeless appeal. We feel fortunate to be responsible for the future,” Salter said.
