The filming of the fourth season of Jersey Shore in Italy has been delayed at least a few weeks.

The cast of the Jersey Shore was scheduled to depart for Italy next week, but a source tells E! News that production has been delayed.
The delay is reportedly due to a contract dispute with Italian nightclubs and bars unwilling to allow MTV to film at their establishments in addition to unfinalized contracts of several of the cast members. It is said that Snooki, The Situation, JWoww and Pauly D are are trying to negotiate more lucrative contracts. +Continue Reading

“Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us,” Chris Linn, MTV’s EVP of programming, said in a statement. “The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can’t wait to see what erupts as a result.”
