James Franco doesn’t plan to follow Ricky Gervais in bashing celebrities when he hosts the 83rd annual Academy Awards.
Gervais’ jokes and insults caused some uproar when he hosted the Golden Globes. When asked if he’d follow Gervais’ approach while hosting the Oscars, Franco said no.
“I haven’t really read any of the reviews, but my sense is that he was not really winning in that room. People were asking me, like, ‘Are you going to look at Ricky as a model for how you’re going to host?’ and I’m just not going to take too much from Ricky,” Franco told MTV. +Continue Reading

Love and Other Drugs, based on Jamie Reidy’s memoir “Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman,” was about Jamie Randall, a womanizing pharmaceutical sales guy who meets Maggie Murdock (Anne Hathaway). Jamie learns that Maggie has Stage 1 Parkinson’s disease, but the two immediately become intoxicated by one drug: love.
After watching the film, I don’t understand what the big deal about the sex scenes were. Yes, they were raunchy, but some critics made it seem like the entire movie was just an orgy, and that wasn’t the case at all.

According to the New York Post, Anne Hathaway threw a fit at her birthday dinner.
The New York Post’s gossip column reports that Hathaway stormed out of a New York City restaurant in tears during her 28th birthday celebration with boyfriend Adam Shulman and her parents.
Hathaway’s publicist denies the incident happened, saying, “(It) never happened… The only time Anne left the table was to take a phone call. She did not leave the table upset.”
