2012 MTV Video Music Awards Heading to the Staples Center
The MTV Video Music Awards is moving to the Staples Center, home of the Lakers, for the 2012 show after spending two years in the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards scored MTV’s biggest audience in the network’s history with a record-breaking 12.4 million viewers and was also the most tweeted-about awards show ever.
