MTV has reportedly canceled Lauren Conrad’s new reality TV show. Conrad, best known for her role on MTV’s The Hills, was supposed to get a new reality show on MTV that focused on her upcoming fashion line.

Professional dancer Derek Hough will not be returning for season 12 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

Hough, three time DWTS stars champ who most recently won season 11 with his partner Jennifer Grey, says, “I’m taking season 12 off.”
Hough, 25, will be busy this spring playing the lead role in an upcoming dance movie called Cobu 3D while season 12 of DWTS is being taped. The movie is a Romeo and Juliet-style love story (their dance groups are rivals) that will be accented by “some incredible dance numbers,” says Hough. “People will see a much edgier side of me and these other styles of dance I’m capable of doing.” +Continue Reading
Being Erica, a Canadian show on CBC is getting re-vamped for American audiences.

ABC is currently developing a pilot for the U.S. version of Being Erica, even though SOAPnet just picked up the original Canadian version.
CBC’s Being Erica, revolves around a woman, Erica Strange (played by Erin Karpluk), who goes back in time to right her wrongs. The show premiered on CBC in 2009 and is currently in its third season. SOAPnet picked up the original series, which will begin airing on January 26th.
